The pilot light or ignition sensor is usually the most common issue when your furnace will not ignite.

It can also be caused by a lack of gas pressure or a gas valve which is only partially opening.
Usually i first check the pilot light.
If it does click the board it sending voltage to the igniter but the igniter could be damaged or have carbon build up on it and needs cleaned off.
In case it isn t working the problem is most likely with the thermocouple which i check immediately after.
Make sure the thermostat is is fine working condition.
Most likely your furnace is making a clicking noise and not providing heat because your furnace s spark igniter is trying to ignite your pilot light or burners but is failing to do so.
Rv furnace runs once but won t restart this sort of issue is most often caused by a blockage in the air intake or exhaust which causes a lack of air in the combustion chamber.
If the a c controller clicks once odds are that is the relay closing and there should be 12v on the thermostat furnace wire.
Check for debris dirt or bugs in the exhaust or inlet.
Rv furnace does not stay lit this is the ultimate result of other issues that can be with the whole furnace system in your rv.
In other words there s an ignition system malfunction that needs to be fixed.
If it s not your blower that s broken it could also be your transformer your run capacitor or your control board.
Rv furnace igniter not working.
If the furnace motor doesn t start when you turn up the thermostat the possible problems are the fuse for the furnace the thermostat the module board the small fan relay that is separate on older model furnaces or the motor itself.
If you see a flashing red light or no light at all your blower is more than likely broken.
When one of these parts is not working properly it can prevent your furnace from starting up and producing heat for your home.
The relay continually clicks and the voltage jumps to 1 2 volts on the blue furnace wires.
This is typically the problem if you can hear your furnace click on but it does not fire up.
You can jumper 12v from another source to that wire to see if the furnace fan starts up.
It could be a loose connection on the board or faulty board.
Also when clicking but not lighting the gas valve may not be opening allowing gas to the burn chamber.
A faulty or dirty ignition or sensor is a relatively easy fix so follow these steps and you may be able to solve the problem yourself.
