We awarded over 400 hundred prizes this year to duck race winners. Sunday july 19 2020 time. A winning duck could receive 1000 or one of many other great prizes. By adopting duckies you re helping to advance the independence productivity and empowermen.

Thank you so much for all who participated. Each numbered duck has a matching pink ticket and a matching yellow ticket numbered to correspond with the numbers on the ducks. A longstanding summit county tradition the great rubber duck race has supported our community for over three decades. The event is hosted by the orange beach lions club and all of the proceeds go toward college scholarships and community service in orange beach.

On saturday march 21 2020 united cerebral palsy association of hawaii s famous rubber duckies will take their 33rd annual dive in the waters of the ala wai canal for the great hawaii rubber duckie race. The 2020 duck race went virtual for a live streamed event this year providing safety for racers. Due to the covid restrictions and with the community s safety in mind the 2020 great rubber duck race will not be a physical race. The fastest winning ducks will win fantastic prizes for their duck adoptive parents.

For 2020 the event was called a duck draw. 8 000 rubber ducks will race down the mighty chena river from the wendell street bridge to the finish line at the cushman street bridge. Funds raised by the loveland rotary club duck race will be used to provide covid 19 relief promote literacy and provide high school scholarships in the thompson school district. The winning duck and ticket receives a 500 grand prize.

Even with this incredible challenging year the duck race still raised over 93 000 for local charities and groups. Instead we are taking the race virtual. The great virtual rubber duck race.
