People have been using rubber bands for different purposes for over 150 years.

The project also requires that i create a motion study analysis for said launcher to predict if the penny will make it through the hole.
I m unsure of how to create the rubber band and even more unsure of how to do what i need in the motion study.
The short answer is that to be classified as a solid does not require perfect rigidity.
Only when some external force is applied will it change its shape.
